Meet Emily

At this moment, Emily defines herself thusly: Actor. Singer. Cabaret Artist. Mom. Daughter. Sister. Feminist. Proud union member. Bosom Buddy. Activist. Aquarian. Storyteller. (Not necessarily in that order.) Cockeyed optimist. And so happy for the chance to sing and play with Darcy and friends.

She’s been an actor for practically as long as she can remember, but discovered the world of Cabaret about 15 years ago. It was through that exploration that she developed her personal motto, “Sing anyway” - which also happens to be the title of one of her solo shows, which she hopes to remount one of these days. You can catch her in the world premiere of Audition From Hell by Portland’s own Sharon Maroney at the Broadway Rose Theatre in April 21 – May 14.
